1）神は、私たちを守るために厳しい言葉を語られることがあります。このようなことを経験したことはありますか？
2) 神は法則を作り、私たちはその下にいます。それをめぐって主と交渉することはできません。その一つが重力の法則です。他にどういうものがありますか？
3) 出エジプト記19:5-6を読みましょう。神は、神の民にどのような計画をお持ちですか？神の宝として、祭司の王国、聖なる国民として生きるとは、実際にどのようなことでしょうか？それを、あなたはどのように実践しますか？
4) 愛を受け取るのが難しいときがあるのはなぜでしょうか？あなたはどのようにして神の愛を受け取るようになりましたか？あるいは、神の愛を受け、その中にとどまることが難しいと感じていますか？もしそうなら、なぜですか？
5) ヨハネの福音書17:21-23を読みましょう。神はあなたに何を語りかけていますか？神の約束は何ですか？神はあなたにどうなってほしいと願っていますか？あなたはどう応答しますか？あなたをためらわせているものがあれば、それは何でしょうか？それを神に明け渡しましょう。

Personal Meditation and Reflection
1. Sometimes God speaks strict words in order to protect us. Have you ever experienced something like that?
2. God has established laws, and we live under them. We cannot negotiate with the Lord about them. One example is the law of gravity. What are some other examples?
3. Read Exodus 19:5–6. What plan does God have for his people? What does it mean in practical terms to live as God’s treasured possession, a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation? How can you live this out in your own life?
4. Why is it sometimes difficult to receive love? How did you come to receive God’s love? Or do you find it difficult to receive his love and remain in it? If so, why?
​5. Read John 17:21–23. What is God saying to you through this passage? What is his promise? What does he desire you to become? How will you respond? If something is holding you back, what is it? Surrender it to God.
