We cannot negotiate with the Lord about them. One example is the law of gravity. What are some other examples? 3. Read Exodus 19:5–6. What plan does God have for his people? What does it mean in practical terms to live as God’s treasured possession, a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation? How can you live this out in your own life? 4. Why is it sometimes difficult to receive love? How did you come to receive God’s love? Or do you find it difficult to receive his love and remain in it? If so, why? 5. Read John 17:21–23. What is God saying to you through this passage? What is his promise? What does he desire you to become? How will you respond? If something is holding you back, what is it? Surrender it to God.
