When you are reading the Bible, or in your quiet time, do you ever have thoughts pop into your head that have nothing to do with what you are reading? It happens to me often. When this happens, I lose focus on what I am reading and start worrying about what has popped into my head. At the same time, I worry that I am not concentrating on the Bible. Last Sunday, Pastor Kudo talked about God and worry, and how your worry gets in between you and God. The above situation is just that. At a time when I should be focused on God, worry is occupying my mind. As a result, I feel like I am an unfaithful Christian. If this happens to you, don't worry! There is a way. Write down the thing that popped into your head. Put it out of your mind and continue reading the Bible. If another thought comes to mind, write it down again and continue. This practice helps me and I hope it will help you too. Connect with us!
