actions speak louder than words

His mother was a retired Buddhist. For decades he had talked to his mother about Jesus and the gospel, but nothing moved her.

One day he learned that his mother had converted to Christianity. He joyfully called his mother. "I am so glad you came to know Jesus. What made you decide to become a Christian?

His mother replied, "Remember a year ago when your brother became very ill? You took six months off work to take care of him. I was surprised at how much you had changed.

You used to be a very selfish person, but when you learned of your brother's illness, you immediately flew from the U.S. to Taiwan to take care of him. I wanted to know how you became so kind and loving.

​That's when I remembered the Jesus you had talked about. I went to a nearby church and asked about Jesus. That's how it all started.

His actions spoke louder
