1. People can steal not only material possessions, but also people, reputations, and even people's hearts. Give examples of each. If you have personally experienced any of these, describe what happened.
2. With the help of the Holy Spirit, examine yourself.
• Do I truly trust God's provision? Am I walking with integrity? Am I building trust in my relationships with the people around me?
• If there have been times when fear or anxiety caused you to distrust God and choose your own way, specifically confess those things, repent, and renew your trust in God.
3. What has God entrusted to you? As a faithful steward of those things, what specific actions will you take?

• Imagine how the woman may have felt in each of these situations: 1. When she was brought before Jesus, 2. When she was left alone with Jesus, 3. When she heard Jesus' words in verse 11. What do you think this entire experience meant to her?
• Share about a time when you experienced the love of Jesus.
3. For Married People: What kind of support do you need from your spouse in order to grow into a more intimate, Christ-centered marriage? (If possible, discuss this together as a couple.)
For Single People: How can friends support one another in maintaining purity in Christ and in being the light of the world and the salt of the earth? (If possible, discuss this with a friend of the same sex.)
